Lawrie and Symington Ltd held the weekly sale of 2081 head of ewes, gimmers and hoggs with lambs at foot. This included the Annual Show and Sale of 833 hoggs with lambs at foot, which were keenly bid for throughout the day and were ably judged by Mr J Barclay, Mid Brockloch Farm and kindly sponsored by Lance Armstrong Shearing.

The champion pen was awarded to 10 Suffolk cross Texel hoggs with 10 Beltex lambs at foot from regular consignor, Messrs Laird, Sunnyside & Carbello Farm which went on to realise the sales top price of £204 per head to regular purchaser, Messrs Anderson, Oldwalls Farm.

Reserve Champion went to a pen of 10 Texel cross hoggs with 10 Beltex lambs at foot from Messrs Smith, Westpark Farm selling at £188 to Messrs Steel, Cumberhead Farm.

The 460 gimmers with lambs at foot topped at £172 for a Beltex with twins from Messrs Hamilton, Dillars Farm with Suffolk cross singles to £168 from Messrs Laird, Carbello & Sunnyside Farm and Mules with singles to £162 from Messrs Laird, Carbello & Sunnyside Farm.

The 788 ewes with lambs at foot were a mixed selection of types but all were keenly bid for. Topping at £160 for Texel one-crop ewes with singles from Messrs Lindsay-Brown, Bogside Farm, Fenwick. Mules sold to £135 from Barclay, Mid Brockloch Farm; Cheviots to £108 from Noble, Lochurd Farm; and Blackface to £88 from Messrs Boswell, East Burnhead Farm, Darvel.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
