Lawrie & Symington Ltd saw 31 entries forward for their Online Timed Auction via Marteye of Bluefaced Leicesters, Beltex and Texel In-Lamb Females and Geld Hoggs. A clearance of 100% saw them all finding new homes across the UK and Southern Ireland.

Leading trade at 3,000gns was a Texel Gimmer from Mr S McNeilly, Drumadowney Road, Ballyclare. A daughter of Cherrylea Fireball and out of a 2021-born homebred ewe sired by Plasucha Charmer who was sold at Ballymena Babes, January 2023. In an all-Ireland transaction, she heads to the South to Mr K Gallen, Lismulladuff due triplets early March to the homebred sire, Drumadowney Hugo.

Topping the Bluefaced Leicester section at 2,900gns was regular sale supporters, Messrs J Wight & Sons, Midlock with an in-lamb Gimmer due Twins mid-March by Steel T3. A daughter of Hewgill R2, her dam is Midlock G110 by Midlock Mustang F27 – who has been a successful flushing ewe with sons selling up to £9,000. Final bid came from Mr W P Sutcliffe, Cragg Hill, North Yorkshire.

Messrs Wight also topped the Bluefaced Leicester Ewe Hoggs at 1,800gns to Mrs H Forbes, Hilton of Duncrieve, Perth. This hogg is a full sister to the £40,000 Midlock Commander P1. Her breeding is sired by Midlock S50, she is out of homebred Midlock P81 by Riddings M1.

Also featured in the sale was Texel Embryos from Mr M Turner, Hawthorn Cottage. Topping trice at 900gns, these are sired by Holtridge Golden Arrow and out of 2021-born Sportsman dam sired by Garngour Detroit.

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
