Lawrie and Symington LTD held its opening sale of store lambs where the 1373 heads forward met one of the best store lamb trades witnessed in some time, averaging £105.21, up £32 on year.

1119 Texel/Beltex/Suffolk lambs averaged £116.66

254 Blackface Tup lambs averaged £54.76

The sale topped at £149 for a pen of outstanding Beltex lambs from MacDonald, Taldale Farm. The brilliant 239 Beltex cross lambs averaged £121.18

The pre-sale show was ably judged by Mr W Thomson, Tulloch Farm, who awarded the 1^st prize ticket to a pen of Beltex lambs from MacDonald, Taldale Farm which realised £142 to Clark, Wellhead Farm.

The 2^nd and 3^rd prize pens were awarded to tremendous Beltex lambs from Steele, Cumberhead Farm which realised £136 and £137 respectively also selling to Clark, Wellheads Farm. This excellent run of 312 Beltex lambs averaged £128.05

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
