Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 145 cattle compromising of 40 bullock and heifers, 65 cast cows and 40 calves.

We had 40 calves forward for our fortnightly sale and an exceptional show of quality. Topping the sale was a pen of 3 Charolais cross bull calves from Erskine, Middle Mains achieving £1340. On milk calves topped at £840 for an Inra cross calf from Greentowers farm.

Lambs

The 2249 prime lambs saw a mixed trade across the board with the best fleshed and heaviest realising the best trade. Weight still paying best. Again, lean lambs best sold store, because they weigh 42kg doesn’t mean they are fat. Please handle lambs.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
