On Monday the 23rd June 2025 Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 79 cattle comprising of 34 bullocks and heifers and 45 cast cows.

Limousin heifers sold to £2995 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to Chapman Butchers, Wishaw or to 450p/kg from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to Cairns Butchers, Law.

Limousin bullocks sold to £2448 from Harvieston Farm, Gorebridge to Chapmans Butchers, Wishaw or to 440p/kg from Balquharrage Farm, Lennoxton to W Stark, Twecher.

Beef cows sold to £2370 per head from West Glespin Farm, Douglas or to 306p/kg from West Glespin Farm, Douglas.

Dairy cows sold to £1910 per head from Harelaw Farm, Lanark or to 266p/kg from Harelaw Farm, Lanark.

On Monday 23rd June Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 469 Lambs, 389 Hoggs and 623 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

Another good show of 469 new season lambs were forward and met a strong demand throughout. All classes easily maintained recent high rates and more required each week.

The sale topped at £206 per head for Charollais from Laird, Yeldabrek and to 435p/kg for Texels from Preacher, Elibank (Holylee Farm)

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
