Limousin heifers sold to £2798 from Brockwoodlees Farm to Bark, Skirling Mains or to 458p/pk from the same home to Black Butchers.

Beef cows sold to £2170 per head from Greenfield Farm or to 320p/pk from Cumberhead Farm.

Dairy cows sold to £1840 per head from Ormiston Mains Farm or to 245p/pk from the same home.

Friesian young bulls sold to £1939 per head from Harviston Farm or to 318p/pk from the same home.

On Monday 2nd June Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 271 Lambs, 2626 Hoggs and 975 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

An excellent show of 271 new season lambs were forward which was double the entry of the same week last year. All classes were heavily bid for and many more could have been sold.

The sale topped at £188 per head for Texels from T. Taylor Jnr, Northholm of Grange Farm and to 406p/kg for Beltex from Sanderson, Biggarshiels Mains Farm.

Another large show of 2626 prime hoggs were forward with a two-tier trade. The heavy and well fleshed sheep easily sold whilst others met realisation. This would be the last Monday where festival trade was relevant.

The sale topped at £190 per head for Beltex from Baillie & Co, Sebay farm, Orkney and to 364p/pk for Texels from Baillie, Broomfield Lodge Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
