Limousin heifers sold to £2869 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to H Black Butchers, Lanark or to 450p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to S Collins Butchers, Muirhead.

Limousin bullocks sold to £2356 from Fauldingcleugh Farm, Lockerbie or to 412p/pk from Fauldingcleugh Farm, Lockerbie.

Beef cows sold to £2570 per head from West Glespin Farm, Douglas or to 330p/pk from West Glespin Farm, Douglas.

On Monday 30th June Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 915 Lambs, 275 Hoggs and 742 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

A larger show of 915 lambs were forward to the usual ring of buyers all keen for sheep. The heaviest lambs are sparse and very dear. Trade a little easier on the week but still well above trade this week last year (308p)

The sale topped at £202 per head for Beltex from Padkin, Muirhouse Farm and to 416p/kg for Texels from I. Struthers, Collielaw.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
