There was 3522 Lambs and 2465 Cast Ewes sold through Lanark.

Lambs

A larger show of 3522 prime lambs were forward with a lot more weight on offer. The heavy lambs would be steadier on week except the super heavies. Best lambs dearer, even with a bit of weight. Export lambs short of numbers. Leaner, plainer sorts at store trade.

The sale topped at £215 per head for Texels from Patterson, Glenside and to 404p/kg for Beltex from Smith, Ash Cottage.

Another large show of 2465 cast ewes and rams saw an excellent show for quality with all classes maintaining recent high rates. Plainer ewes slightly easier but still dear in comparison.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
