On Monday 21^st October Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 130 cattle comprising of 55 bullocks and heifers and 75 cast cows.

Limousin heifers sold to 360p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm to Stark Butchers or to £2484 from Brockwoodlees Farm to Black Butchers, Lanark.

Limousin bullocks sold to 292p/pk from Walkerdyke Farm to Chapman Butchers or to £2012 from Strutherhead Farm to J Gibb, Biggar.

Beef cows sold to £1770 per head from Kittymuirhill Farm or to 244p/pk from Gillbank Farm.

Dairy cows sold to £1570 per head from Harelaw Farm or to 184p/pk from Greentowers Farm.

On Monday 21^st October Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 4018 Lambs and 2200 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

A larger show of lambs forward were a much better selection of well fleshed lambs and trade remained firm. All classes heavily bid for with export weights short in numbers.

The sale topped at £182 per head for Texels from Whinbush Farm and to 331p/pk for Beltex from High Parks Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
