Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 270 cattle comprising of 40 bullocks and heifers, 80 cast cows, 121 calves and 49 store bullocks and heifers.

 Calves and Stirks

At our fortnightly calf and stirk sale had 121 calves forward. The sale topped at £1420 for an exceptional Limousin bull calf from Messers Orr Dykehead, many more calves could have been sold to vendors’ advantage.

Lambs

Another large show of 493 new season lambs again sold to an excellent trade in all weight classes. Many more could be sold to advantage as firm make the switch from hoggs.

The sale topped at £260 per head for Texel from Wilkins, Wester Whitecastle and to 522p/kg for Texel from Gibson, Cowgrove.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
