There was 3826 Hoggs, 110 Store Hoggs and 1421 Cast Ewes sold through Lanark.

Hoggs

Another large show of 3826 prime hoggs were forward with over 1440 outstanding fed Blackface hoggs on offer. Heavy hoggs also sharper in week. All classes easily sold and more requires to fill Scotlands largest ring of prime sheep buyers.

The sale topped at £188 per head for Texels from RM Clark, Netherton Farm and to 421p/kg for Beltex from Cunningham, Walkerdyke Farm.

The 1421 cast ewes were a mixed show of quality including 689 Blackface ewes which were very mixed for flesh. Best quality ewes keenly bid for and more could easily be sold to advantage.

The sale topped at £282 per head for Suffolk tups from Harper, Southmains Farm and to £154 for Blackface from Fallows, Cockrig Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
