On Monday the 23rd December Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 4244 Lambs and 1341 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Lambs
A grand show of 4244 prime lambs saw a fantastic festive trade in all classes with trade getting dearer all day. Many more could have been sold.
The sale topped at £236 per head Texels from Wight, Midlock Farm and to 402p/kg for Beltex from Muirhead, Carse of Trowan Farm.
