Limousin Heifers sold to £3010 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to Chapman Butchers Wishaw or to 458p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm to J Cairns Butcher, Law.

Limousin bullocks sold to £2301 from Muirburn Farm, Biggar to MJ Stark Wholesaler, Paisley or to 420p/pk from Muirburn Farm, Biggar to MJ Stark Wholesaler, Paisley.

Beef Cows sold to £2640 per head from Brownsbank, Biggar or to 342p/pk from Buteland Farm, Balerno.

On Monday Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their fortnightly calf and stirk sale with 37 head were forward.

Topping the sale was a Limousin X Bull Calf from Messrs Morton, Haystoun which realised £1,000.

On-Milk Calves topped at £760 for a Charolais X Heifer Calf from Messrs Warnock, Dreva.

Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3593 Lambs and Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

Another large show of 3593 prime lambs saw trade take an upwards turn and all classes considerably dearer on the week.  Many more could have been sold to advantage.

The sale topped at £194 per head for Beltex from Struthers, Collielaw and to 406p/kg for Beltex from Laird, Sunnyside.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
