Limousin heifers sold to £2973 from Brockwoodlees Farm, Canonbie to Black Butcher, Lanark. Or to 455p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm to Collins butcher, Muirhead.

Limousin bullocks sold to £2652 from Faskine Farm, Airdrie to Cooper Butchers, Bellshill.  Or to 410p/pk from Mid Shawtonhill Farm, Strathaven to Findlay Wholesale Wishaw.

Beef cows sold to £2690 per head from Toxside Farm, Gorebridge or to 310p/pk from Parkhall Farm, Lanark.

On Monday Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their fortnightly calf and stirk sale of 69 calves with no shortage of quality.

Topping the sale was a spectacular limousine cross Bullock from Messrs Harrison, Auchtygemmell achieving £1110.

On Milk calves peaked at £660 for a British Blue Heifer calf from Messrs Adamson, Swaites.

Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3814 Lambs and 1969 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

A larger show of 3814 prime lambs again saw a lot of weight on offer.  Best fleshed export type lambs sold well and short of requirement. Average well in line with national trend as more numbers come forward.

The sale topped at £179 per head for Texels from Cullen, Craighead and to 347p/kg for Beltex from Frame, High Dyke & Baillie, Broomfield Lodge.

A larger show of 1969 cast ewes & rams were forward with a large show of plain ewes on offer.  The best ewes were very good selling trade, leaner end slightly cheaper.

The sale topped at £300 per head for Texel tup from Gibb, Toftcombs and to £116 for Blackface from Ingraston Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
