REPORT:

Topping today’s sale at 680gns was Glendoick Lucifer, a Hebridean Shearling Ram consigned from Euan Dunbar, Glendoick flock based in Perthshire. Sired by Ronasvoe MacPiers and out of the homebred dam, Glendoick Juniper, he was today’s Pre-Sale Hebridean Breed Champion. Successful buyer of this ram was today’s judge, Jonathan James, Slipperfield flock.

 

Staying with the Hebridean breed, next top was 620gns from David Braithwaite, another Shearling Ram, Skipwith Crogganmore. Sired by Skipwith Bladnoch, he is out of Slipperfield Latoya – a daughter of Ronasvoe MacSpok. He now joins Messrs Minto, West Lodge North, Melrose.

 

Topping the Any Other Breed Section was Cathleen Hepburn, Whim Park with her Dutch Spotted Ram Lamb who realised £400. He heads to Ayrshire with Messrs Gemmell, Dunduff.

 

Topping the Shetland Section was today’s Reserve Champion at the Pre-Sale Show, an Ewe Lamb from Mr J Oddy, Muirfield flock based in Jedburgh. This ewe lamb had a great day at the show winning her class, Reserve Breed Champion, Best Lamb Wool, Overall Wool Champion and then Best Overall Lamb. She is sired by Hunters Gabe and out of Glenwood Kiwi – a Copperfield Eli daughter. She now joins Joanna Main, Heathpool, Peebles.

 

Our new Society Breed, Greyface Dartmoor was topped at 200gns for a Shearling Ram from Liam and Donna Howatson, Hartfell flock. Siredby Vespasian 91, he is out of a Litharge dam. She now joins CJ Miskin, Priestlands Grove, Hexham.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
