Lawrie and Symington sold 624 Store Cattle and 114 breeding cattle at their fortnightly sale. Bullocks sold to a top of £1880 for a 676kg for a Limousin x from Lochurd Farm, or to 326.1p for a 552kg for a Limousin x from Wintermuir Farm to average 293.6p

Heifers peaked at £1700 for a 574kg Charolais x from West Millrig Farm or to 316.6p for a 458kg Limousin x from the same home, to level at 280.4p

Dairy bullocks topped at £1380 for a pen of 549kg British Friesians from Park O’Barnaigh Farm, or to 257.6p for a 524kg Montbeliarde from Nethertown Farm to average 225.9p

A tremendous show of breeding cattle was on offer with the sale topping at £3100 for an Angus cow and bull calf from Hill of Kilncadzow Farm. 96 cows with calves at foot sold to average £2067 and in calf heifers peaked at £1720 from Ladyurd Farm and in calf cows reached £1180 from Low Bowhill Farm. Breeding bulls sold to a top of £5200 for an Aberdeen Angus from Hill of Kilncadzow Farm.

L&S had a quality show of 112 head of breeding cattle offered for sale on Tuesday 20th August to a busy ringside of buyers. The sale comprised of 97 cows with calf at foot, 4 in-calf cows, 7 in-calf heifers and 4 breeding bulls.

Included in the sale were stock dispersals on behalf of Messrs Warnock, Sandilands, Mr I Tennant, Oldhill and Messrs Aitken, Hill of Kilncadzow. The sale was topped at £3100 for an Aberdeen Angus cow with Angus bull calf at foot from Hill of Kilncadzow, closely followed by a Limousin x cow with Angus calf at foot from Oldhill, selling for £3000.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
