On Tuesday 2nd April, Lawrie and Symington sold 1127 Cattle for the April Show & Sale. The show was ably judged by Miss Sophie Watt, who picked a Limousin X bullock as her Champion from Messrs Wight, Midlock which scaled 444kg and later sold at £1700. The reserve Champion was a 426kg British Blue from Messrs Comrie, Stonebyres, which sold for £1680.

Bullocks sold to a top of £1880 for a 690kg Limousin X from Messrs Muirhead, Wolfcrooks Cottage, or to 428.6p for a 350kg Limousin X from Messrs Steel, Cumberhead, to level at 305.84p

Heifers peaked at £1720 for a 496kg Charolais X from Messrs Warnock, Dreva or to 434.8p for a 368kg Limousin X from Messrs Meikle, West Flakefield, to average 288.61p

Dairy Bullocks sold to a top of £1430 for a pen of three British Friesians at 582kg from Messrs Taylor, Blackburn Mains to level at 237.50p

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
