Lawrie and Symington held their weekly sale of 2776 store lambs including 1623 Blackface. All classes of lambs were dearer on week and is certainly the way to sell the leaner end of year fat lambs.
The sale topped at £125 for Texel from Sherridan, Wester Place with Blackface to £100 for a pen of 50 from Helen Fleming, Cronberry Farm and Cheviots topped at £109 for a pen of 58 NCC from Irving, Mont Banger.

A catalogued entry of 872 breeding sheep and rams sold to a huge ringside of purchasers all looking to top up numbers with many sheep well sold, surpassing previous sales.
Topping at £225 for Rouge X Suffolk gimmers from Haughhead Farm and Mule gimmers selling to £200 from Kirkhouse Farm. Cheviot gimmers to £175 from Tippethill Farm and Blackface ewes to £122 for 1 crop from Middle Moneynut Farm.
