Bullocks sold to a top of £1880 for a 504kg British Blue, the Champion calf in today’s pre-sale show, from Messrs Hamilton, Mid Shawtonhill, or to 408.9p/kg for a Beef Shorthorn from Messrs Fram, Little Galla, to average 301.4p.
Heifers topped at £1780 for a 602kg Charolais from Messrs Warnock, Dreva, or to 379.6p for a 432kg British Blue from Stonebyres Mains, to level at 280.17p
