A larger show of 3878 prime hoggs were a good show for flesh and dearer on the week especially for the 36-43kg export type hoggs. An excellent show of Blackface hoggs also sold easily, heavies sharper.
The sale topped at £158 per head for Texels from Messrs Kennedy, Mitchellhill and to 315p/kg for Beltex from Messrs Gibb, Toftcombs and Messrs Struthers, Collielaw.
