On Monday 12^th August Lawrie and Symington Ltd had forward 102 cattle comprising of 45 bullocks and heifers and 57 cast cows.

Limousin heifers sold to 336p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm to Mitchel Butchers, Glenrothies or to £2215 from the same home to Black Butchers, Lanark.

AA bullocks sold to 298p/pk from West Backs Farm to J Gibb, Biggar or to £2084 from Walkerdyke Farm to Chapman Butchers, Wishaw.

Beef cows sold to £1970 per head from Carlophill Farm or to 172p/pk from Craigends Farm.

Dairy cows sold to £1230 per head from Blackbog Farm or to 172p/pk from Craigends Farm.

On Monday 12^th August Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2583 Lambs and 2384 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

Lambs

A similar show of 2583 prime lambs were forward with trade slightly easier on the week but in line with the end of week trading. Best quality, well fleshed lambs still easily sold.

The sale topped at £192 per head for a Texel from North Garngour Farm and to 354p/kg for a Beltex from Auldtoun Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
