The centre conducted their second ‘Lanark Ladies’ with a catalogued entry of 64 Texel In-Lamb Gimmers and Empty Ewe Hoggs. With the use of Marteye, online bidding once again became a very popular and familiar option with 13 lots sold online, whilst others actively bid around the ringside.

Prior to the sale, the Show of Texel Females took place under the watchful eye of young Tom Pyman, Thacka flock.

Sale Report:

Topping the sale at 6,200gns was the Pre-Sale Champion, a Ewe Hogg from the Hexel flock and consigned by Donald & Sarah MacPherson, Castlehills, Berwick-Upon Tweed. A daughter of the joint private purchaser, £100,000 Strathbogie Gladiator, and out of a 2020-born Procters Chumba Wumba daughter. She sold online to BI & BM Mosey, Village Farm, East Yorkshire.

Topping the gimmer trade at 4,400gns from Hugh & Alan Blackwood, Auldhouseburn, Muirkirk. A daughter of the 130,000gns Haymount Fan Dabi Dozi, her dam is a 2022-born daughter of the record holder – 350,000gns Sportsmans Double Diamond. A full sister to 42,000gns Auldhouseburn Ghost, she sold on the phone to Messrs C Fielder, Duttons, Hampshire carrying a single to the 24,000gns Mellor Vale Hercules.

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
