Lambs
A larger show of 391 spring lambs saw all classes remaining dear and saw more lighter lambs forward still realizing well over the £100. Many more could now be sold each week to fill buyer demand.
The sale topped at £188 per head for Texel from Messrs D Preacher, Holylee Cottage and to 380p/kg for Texels from Messrs Clark, Blackhill.

Included today was final sale of sale was 560 ewes & hoggs with lambs at foot. A very busy ringside of buyers ensured trade remained strong throughout and more could easily have been sold to advantage.
The sale was topped at £110 (per life) for texel hoggs with Char lambs at foot from Messrs DC & JJ Marshall, Gosland Farm and to £91 (per life) for a pen of Scotch Mules with twin Char lambs from Messr Fry, Porterstown.
