Sheep Primestock Report

Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2 Spring Lambs, 3033 Hoggs, 482 Store Hoggs and 1032 Cast Ewes through Lanark.

The first two lambs of the year consigned by K O’Connor, Woodside Farm scaled at 39kg and realised £182 per head and 466ppkg. More handy weights could easily be cashed.

Hoggs

A good show of 3033 prime hoggs were forward with a mixed offering and a lot if heavy sheep on show. Best quality and export hoggs easily sold 410-430ppkg and short if requirement.

The sale topped at £236 per head for Texels from Hepburn, Whim Park Cottage and to 545p/kg for Beltex from Cunningham, Walkerdyke Farm.

Topping at £152 for Texels from Ridland, Dukeston of Brux Farm, Aberdeenshire. Blackface topped at £135 from EWG, Hearthstanes Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
