Lawrie and Symington sold 806 store cattle at their Spring Show and Sale.

Bullocks topped at £2950 for a 426kg British Blue from Laird & Son of Sunnyside/Carbello Farm, achieving 692.5p/kg for the same animal. Bullocks averaged 436.2p

Heifers peaked at £3100 for a 400kg Limousin cross from Laird & Son of Sunnyside/Carbello Farm, or 775p/kg for the same animal. Heifers averaged 424.7p

Dairy bullocks topped at £2000 for a pen of ten tremendous 582kg British Friesians from McPherson of Tanhill Farm.

The Champion was a 504kg British Blue bullock from Midlock Farms, selling to Messrs Kitson for £2260.

The Reserve Champion was a 410kg Limousin cross heifer from Hamilton of Tippethill Farm, which made £2540 and sold to Armstrong of Dunsyre Mains Farm.

There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
