There was 4143 Hoggs, 359 Store Hoggs and 1626 Cast Ewes sold through Lanark.

 

Hoggs

Another large show of hoggs were forward with more weight on offer. Trade was very dear and followed on from the end of week bonanza. All classes in demand and easily sold.

The sale topped at £212 per head for Texels from Hartside Farms and Midlock Farms and to 435p/kg for Beltex from Shaw, West Lethans Farm.

A larger show of 359 store hoggs were a very mixed show for quality with many tail end sheep forward. They topped at £133 for Texels from McCornick, Gair Farm and Blackface to £114 from the same home.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
