L&S held their ‘Final Fling’ Ram sale where 1052 rams of all classes were forward. With a large attendance of buyers present, a strong trade prevailed throughout the sale, with a 92% clearance rate.
Blackface
Blackface Ram Lambs sold to £7000 from Hugh & Alan Blackwood, Auldhouseburn Farm, purchased by the Harestone Flock of Stuart Barclay. This was followed at £5000 for a lamb from John Harkins Loughask Flock, purchased by Veronica Fullarton. At £1900, Messrs J Mitchell & Son, Little Larg, secured another lamb from the Auldhouseburn Flock.
The Shearlings were topped at £1500 from Alan McClymont, Kirkstead, purchased by W Thomson,Tulloch.
