Lawrie & Symington sold 1387 cattle at their March Show & Sale. A tremendous show for quality were forward to a packed ringside of buyers from all over Scotland & the North of England, with a buoyant trade from start to finish. Thanks must be extended to our judge, Mr Hugh MacKinnon, for making the journey over from Isle of Tiree, and also to our sale sponsors Agrimin & Mr David Bell for coming along on the day.

Bullocks sold to a top of £1980 for a 658kg Limousin x from D & R holdings, Low Bowhill, or to 447.5p/kg for a 362kg Charolais from Messrs J Warnock, Dreva, to average 330.36p/kg.

Heifers peaked at £1920 or 492.3p/kg for a 390kg Limousin x from Messrs T Laird & Son, Sunnyside & Carbello, to level at 314.1p/kg.

A small show of dairy bullocks sold to a top of £1330 for a pair of 501kg British Friesians from Messrs W G Linton, Muldron, to average 253.68p/kg.

PLEASE NOTE:
There will be NO sundry section within the sale and we reserve the right not to accept entries which we feel are unfit for the sale.

COMMISSION RATES
• Commission will be charged on all lots at 10% on FIRST £200 of any lot and 5% thereafter (e.g., Sold at £350 = £20+£7.50=£27.50), capped at £350 per lot. Minimum £5 per lot. • All purchases will be subject to a 3% plus VAT buyer's premium on all lots capped at £350 per item sold by auction or by private treaty.

ENTRY FEES
Tractors, Gators, Quads and Vehicle (To be sold online) £10 + VAT per lot DELIVERY OF ITEMS TO SALE YARD All Farm Machinery and Implements must be delivered to our saleyard by 3 pm on the day before the sale with the exception of Tractors, Vehicles and Quad which may arrive no later than 10.00am on the Thursday. Due to ongoing Health and Safety issues, there will be NO unloading facility available on Sale Day with loading permitted only after the conclusion of the sale.

ONLINE FACILITY
Tractor, Telehandlers, Gators, Quads and Vehicles will also be offered for sale through our online facility alongside the live sale via a drive through, any machine which cannot be driven through will be sold in the line with no online facility.

All items are sold as seen and will be conducted under the Lawrie & Symington and IAAS General Conditions of Sale which are available for inspection at our office.
