Lawrie & Symington Ltd were delighted to host the Inaugural Show & Sale of Badger Face Texel Sheep on behalf of the Society – an exciting new venture for the firm.
Trade topped at 700gns for Hunters Fiona – a gimmer consigned by Messrs Stuart & Finn Hunter, West Cairnhill Farm, Insch. This gimmer is sired by Duhonw Extreme and out of the homebred dam of Hunters Anastasia. She joins the flock of Nick & Kayley Gill, Moory Lea, Barnard Castle.
Moments earlier, the Ram Lamb trade was topped at 650gns from James Scott, Strathview flock based in Forfar. His sub entry, Strathview Georgie Porgie, a son of Beili Epic and out a homebred dam sired by Hackney Braveheart. He headed home with J A Nicholls, Randles Lane, Stoke on Trent.
