The firm conducted their second Online Timed Sale of Mullinvale Majestics on behalf of Darragh McMenamin, where 21 Suffolk Gimmers and 92 Straws of Suffolk Semen were offered for sale via MartEye over 23rd and 24th June 2025.
Leading trade was UJU:24:03865H, a gimmer sired by the 30,000gns Cairnton Stirk who was sold at the Scottish Area Branch Show & Sale at Lanark, July 2021. Out of a homebred dam, this gimmer is an ET Sister to Mullinvale Billionaire, and her G.Dam also bred the 50,000gns Mullinvale Munro. She sold for the leading price of 4,900gns to an undisclosed buyer.
Next to light up the trade at 2,900gns was another Cairnton Stirk daughter (UJH:24:03861J) – a real breeding gimmer and one of the favourites. Out of a Finn Vale ewe who was purchased for 3,000gns. She heads to Cathal Tuohy, Coose.
This was closely followed at 2,800gns for a Mullinvale Ace daughter (UJU:24:03916G) and out of a Rhaeadar ewe purchased at the Dark Diamonds sale in 2020 for 5,500gns. She is a super gimmer with lots of power and now heads for export to Jonathon Dufrane in Belgium.
