Dairy Cattle
Lawrie and Symington had forward 22 head at their monthly dairy sale. Dairy heifers topped at £1750 (3 times) from Baxter of Gibblaston Farm. In milk heifer topped at £2700 (3 times) for Holsteins from J Rutherford of Loanfoot Farm and Dalling of Westertoun Farm.

Calves and Stirks
On Monday Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their fortnightly calf and stirk sale with 90 super calves and stirks were sold at our Christmas show and sale. Thanks goes to Roadhead Farm Feeds for sponsoring and J Ogilvie for judging. Champion calf went to a British Blue cross calf from Bryson, Dykehead. Reserve Champion went to an Inra heifer calf from Pirie, Macrihanish Farm. The sale peaked at £1220 for a Charolais cross heifer from Warnock, Sandilands Farm. On milk calves peaked at £880 for a British Blue cross bull calf from Adamson, Swaites Farm.
Next Sale will be held on 15th December.

Lambs
A record show of 6113 prime lambs were forward to a busy ring of buyers. Trade was as expected with export and light weight lambs very dear and heavier lambs either side of £3/kg.
The sale topped at £182 per head for Texel from Tough, Easterseat Farm and to 409p/kg for Beltex from A Frame, High Dyke Farm.
