On Monday 25th August 2025 Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 2583 Lambs and 1781 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Lambs
A similar show of 2583 prime lambs were forward with trade back on week in line with national trend as more come forward. The heaviest lambs were again the best pounds per head.
The sale topped at £196 per head for Texels from Clark, Garngour and Suffolks from Thornborrow, Easter Dawyxk and to 353p/kg for Beltex from Purdon, Brownsbank.
