Limousin heifers sold to £2777 from Brockwoodlees Farm to H Black Butchers, or to 450p/pk from Brockwoodlees Farm to H Black Butchers.
Limousin bullocks sold to £2854 from Hill Farm, Strathaven to H Black Butchers or to 410p/pk from Hill Farm, Strathaven to H Black Butchers.
Beef cows sold to £2390 per head from Traquair Knowe Farm or to 301p/pk from Mid Shawtonhill Farm.

Lambs
A smaller show of 716 lambs were forward owing mainly to the weekend elements. All classes were very dear as everyone seemed short of numbers. More required each week.
The sale topped at £208 per head for Texels from Campbell, Overburns Farm and to 421p/kg for Suffolks from Whiteford, Belstane Farm.
