On Monday 22nd Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 4174 Lambs and 1014 Cast Ewes through Lanark.
Lambs
Another grand show of 4174 prime lambs were on offer with trade a lot sharper on the week especially for export type lambs. Heavy lambs also dearer per head.
The sale topped at £192 per head for Texels from Clark, North Garngour Farm and to 400p/kg from Beltex from Baillie, Broomfield Lodge Farm.
