Opening and Leading the trade at 1,000gns was a Ram Lamb, STZ:25:27723, from Andrew Hambleton, Dovedale flock. Sired by Ballynacannon Playboy and out of a Cairness Castello sired Strathbogie ewe. He heads home with Messrs Perratt, North Allerton, Jackton.
A further two lots were sold at 850gns, both consigned by Messrs Hambleton again. Andrew’s lamb, STZ:25:27726 is an ET Brother to the top price, selling to Ryan Roddon, Springfield Farm Court, Gretna.
Also at 850gns from the same consignment was their third entry, STZ:25:27728 is also sired by Ballynacannon Playboy, and this time out of a homebred dam sired by Strathbogie A Kind of Magic. He also heads home with Messrs Roddan.
