Sale Report:

Topping the sale was first time exhibitor to Lanark and had good day winning Reserve Male Champion, Amy Thomlinson of the Belstruther flock based in Duns with September-2024 born Ram Lamb, Belstruther Hero, who realised 600gns. Sired by Greenbank Erny and out of Dupin Flashdance, he heads north, joining Messrs Sheed of the Strathbogie flock in Huntly.

 

Father and Son duo, Robbie and Alistair Morton, Stobilee flock based in Lanark enjoyed a good day in both the Show and Sale Rings. Topping the females at 550gns with their September-2024 born Ewe Lamb after winning the Overall Champion, she now joins Messrs Gillespie, Crosshill Avenue in Campbeltown. For his money, he receives a daughter of Richhill Extrovert and out of the homebred, Stobilee Caitlin.

 

Robbie and Alistair also received 550gns for their third prize Ram Lamb, Stobilee Hamilton from Messrs Henderson, West Teuchan, Crudenbay. A Stobilee Fernando’s son, his dam is a Ballytaggart ewe sired by Greenhill Calypso.

 

After winning first prize in the Aged Ram Class, Dennis and Declan Rankine, Dun Eideann flock based at Lochgelly, Sherborne Fixate, a September-2022 born ram realised 500gns. He sold online via MartEye to A Anderson, Plewlands, Duffas. Fixate is a son of Byeways Charlie and out of a Sherborne Zcars daughter.
