SHOW & SALE OF VALAIS BLACKNOSE SHEEP (On behalf of Scottish Valais Blacknose Club)

Topping today’s Show & Sale at 1,500gns was a gimmer from Messrs MacDonald, Strath Valais flock – Strath Valais Lexi. Born February 2024, she is sired by Glenchamber Grazzian and out of a homebred dam, Strath Valais Bo, a daughter of Murkernick Lewis. She now heads back north to Messrs Ross, Wardhead, Strichen.

 

Closely followed at 1,200gns, another gimmer this time from Val Cartner, Blackwoodridge Flock with Luna. By Deepdale Impact, she is out of Blackwoodridge Hattie. Taking her home is Messrs Kennedy, Edinbeg, Isle of Bute.

 

Today’s Pre-Sale Champion, also from Val Cartner realised 1,000gns – another gimmer Blackwoodridge Kismet. Also sired by Impact, her dam is Blackwoodridge Jinny. She also heads north joining the sale’s top price with Messrs Ross.

 

Gimmers received the four top prices with another realising 1,000gns from Ros Stewart, Kildimmery flock. This one was Yorkshire Kloud, a Prenwick Ice Cold daughter out of New Forest Gwendolin. She also heads to Isle of Bute with Messrs Kennedy.
