Bullocks peaked at £3000 for a 712kg British Blue from Messrs WAB & ME Noble, Lochurd Farm, Blyth Bridge, or to 498.3p for a pair of 301kg Limousin cross from Messrs W Steel & Co, Cumberhead Farm, Lesmahagow to level at 414p.
Heifers sold to a top of £2940 for a 676kg British Blue again from Messrs WAB & ME Noble, Lochurd Farm, Blyth Bridge, or to 476.7p for a 386kg Limousin cross from Messrs J Nisbet, Sorn Mains, Sorn to average 398p.
Dairy bullocks topped at £2320 for a pen of four Montbeliarde at 603kg from Messrs D & M Russell, Cobblehaugh Farm, Lanark or to 390.3p for the same beast.
