Lawrie and Symington held their weekly sale of 3133 Store Lambs of all classes followed by 730 Breeding Sheep and 55 Rams. (Average £92.97)
Store lambs were and excellent show for quality and sold to a top of £146 for Texels from Hamilton, High Crewburn Farm. Suffolks to £127 from Bradbury, Halliburton Farm and MacKinnon Farming, Wester Mosshat Farm. Cheviots to £102 from Barnett, Halfmark Farm. Blackface to £93 from Wood, Patervan Farm.

A great entry of 730 Breeding Sheep met a great demand with plenty of local customers still needing to top up numbers.
£255 for Mule Gimmers from Thornborrow, Easter Dawyck Farm and £198 twice for Mule and Cheviot Mule 2 crop Ewes from Noble, Windy Gowl Farm.
Rams were easily sold to a top of £1200 for a Texel Shearling from Clark, North Garngour Farm.
