Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their weekly sale of 2306 store lambs (comprising of 1086 Blackface and Cheviot lambs). Selling to a top of £137 for Beltex from K Blackwood, Nether Abington Cottage. Blackface sold to £94 from Elvanfoot. A more mixed show of store lambs for size and many more hill lambs forward saw trade slightly easier on the week with the top end steadier as the fat trade drops. The longer keep lambs better sold in comparison.
