Lawrie and Symington ltd held their weekly sale of 6647 store lambs of all classes. Trade was buoyant throughout and all classes well sold, averaging £86.10

The 3051 Blackface lambs sold to a top of £107 from Culterallers and average at £74.75

The 1300 Cheviot lambs topped at £105 for South Country Cheviots from Paton, Castle

Crawford Farm to average at £89.84

The 2296 lambs of any other breeds sold to a top of £129 for a ring-full of outstanding Suffolk x lambs from Bradbury, Halliburton Farm.
