Lawrie and Symington held their weekly sale of 1751 store lambs of all classes where trade was on fire and well above vendors expectations. An outstanding show of forward lambs on offer with many more numbers needed to meet buyers demand.
The sale topped at £155 for Beltex from High Parks Farm with Suffolks to £144 from Linton, The Firs who also sold Beltex to top at £138. North Country Cheviots sold to £137 from Cockburn, Kingside Farm with Cheviot cross Blackface to £120 from Clark, Blackhope Farm. Blackface sold to £116 from Allison, Anston Farm.
