Lawrie and Symington Ltd held their weekly sale of 2137 store lambs, including 935 Blackface. A larger ringside of buyers ensured trade stayed strong with the Blackface lambs easiest to sell. Strong lambs still in demand. Middle of road lambs slightly easier and good value. Sale topped at £132 for a pen of outstanding Suffolks from Messrs Bradbury, Halliburton followed closely at £130 for a ring full of exceptional Texels from Longformacus farms.

Blackface lambs topped at £92 from Queensberry Farms, Glenmanna.
