Lawrie and Symington Ltd sold 3192 lambs at their weekly sale. The largest show of store lambs so far this season (which included 2200 Blackface) saw a full ring side of buyers present. Lambs would sell to recent extreme rates & more could easily have been sold to the vendors advantage.

Trade was topped at £99.50 for a pen of 27 Beltex’s from Messrs Adamson, Swaites Farm.
Blackface were topped at £81.80 for a pen of 61 top draw wedders from Queensberry Farming (Dalveen).
